Genre: New Adult, Contemporary Romnace

She’s about to make a deal with the college bad boy...

Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she’s carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush’s attention, she’ll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice... even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.

...and it’s going to be oh so good.

All Garrett Graham has ever wanted is to play professional hockey after graduation, but his plummeting GPA is threatening everything he’s worked so hard for. If helping a sarcastic brunette make another guy jealous will help him secure his position on the team, he’s all for it. But when one unexpected kiss leads to the wildest sex of both their lives, it doesn't take long for Garrett to realize that pretend isn't going to cut it. Now he just has to convince Hannah that the man she wants looks a lot like him.

My Review:

Review originally posted on my Goodreads.

It's a fun, refreshing and enjoyable read that will put a huge smile on your face. Actually, I can't stop grinning like an idiot because it is really hilarious and entertaining.

The Deal is about a music major, Hannah Wells. She is a simple, intelligent and talented girl with a troubled past and it gives her a hard time in interacting with people, particularly with boys. She has a huge crush on Justin Kohl, a football player who belongs to the same class as hers but she doesn't know how to get his attention. Then, she met this popular hockey player, Garrett Graham

She is so annoyed with him because he chased her around and convinced her to tutor him in class so that he could pass on his make-up exam so that he could play and have better grades. So, they made a deal. Hannah will tutor him and Garrett will help her to get Justin's attention. Things got good, friendship builds and as well as the romance.

These two are so adorable and sweet. I'm very fascinated of how they throw banters at each other and more bickering. God, I can't help smiling at them. They're such a funny couple and the romance… AWESOMESAUCE . The characters and their chemistry are well developed.

"Garrett Graham, my own personal-sweet talker"

Garrett Graham is such a cocky, attractive, gentleman. Good Lord of Heavens. Can he be real? He is this confident man with a pure heart. I love his cheesiness sometimes. His past is not good as well but he's just brave to stood up on his jackass father. Hannah Wells, well I love her character maybe because she's not this roses & chocolates type of girl and she calls Garrett 'Dude' not 'Baby'. Ahh.. I love this cool woman.

I sort of looking for a closure between Garrett and his father. This is more of a steady - paced reading. There are times a little bit slow. On the other hand, the main characters just carried me away. If you're looking for a light and amusing read, you better pick this book. Like… NOW.

Thank you sis Grace for recommending this to me! :)
