What. In. The. World. Just. Happened.

What. The. Fuck.

Someone. Give. Me. The. Next. Book! NOW!
Welcome to the Cliffhanger Club!

However, I have mixed thoughts about this book.

I like the story, it will give you a moment of thinking possibilities. Everything is twisted, intriguing and unpredictable. I simply don't have any idea what happened to the characters, how they lost their memories. I don't know if they bumped their heads or something. I am freaking clueless. Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher should collaborate more on novels. A mix of love and mystery. I like it very much.

As for the main characters, Silas and Charlie. I like them. Their love story is so sick that sometimes I don't them. Their characters need to be more elaborated because I can't feel the romance/chemistry between them and I am very intrigued what really happened before the craziness happened. There are lots of missing pieces in this book, it's confusing.

I. Just. Need. More. Because. I. Need. Answers. NOW.

I can't wait for the Never Never part 2!

Damn it. I just hate cliffhangers. It's an agony to wait for the next installment.

Fifty Shades of Grey Movie: My Verdict

My simple note to those who will read my verdict:

These are honest thoughts about the movie. I don't have any intention to offend anyone, whether you are a fan of Fifty Shades of Grey or not. We are all entitled to express freely, whether it's a positive or a negative feedback. I respect whatever opinions you have as long as you respect mine. Let's be open to different opinions. We all have different tastes and we can't please everyone.

Thank you.

Going back on my review, I watched Fifty Shades of Grey last February 11, 2015 (Philippine Premiere) with my Book Girlfriends. Sold Out on the first day of showing. Just wow. :D To be honest, I'm not really a fan of the first book. I prefer Fifty Shades Darker but I am so curious how the movie will turn out. I'm excited because of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. It's very challenging for both of them because of the story and of course, the sex scenes (BDSM). No pictures will be posted because it's R-18 and some of you are under age. (Just to keep it safe)

My rating: 6/10

I find it okay. Some scenes are similar to Twilight (because it's a Twilight fanfic. Understandable), I swear I thought Christian Grey will say "So the lion fell in love with the lamb." on the meadow scene and Anastasia Steele will reply "Stupid lamb." Throughout the movie, I just can't stop smiling or laughing at some scenes.

Characters: I think Dakota Johnson did an awesome portrayal of Anastasia Steele. She is exactly how I imagined Anastasia. She got that innocent look and she is so hilarious! Damn. My jaw hurts on the drunk scene. I just laughed out loud. I am so happy that in the movie, there is no fucking-annoying-Inner-Goddess! YAAAAAS! As for Jamie Dornan a.k.a Christian Grey, at first I'm not sure if he is perfect for the role because I don't really see him as CG but... he is HOT and he got CG's emotionless look plus the ACCENT.(Guys with accent. Holy smokes. F*ck. Fans self. Excuse my words.)  Seriously, he did great but he is not as aggressive as Christian Grey (book version). I wish on Fifty Shades Darker, it's focused on Christian Grey. (More Jamie Dornan exposrure) I'm satisfied with the acting. I'm so good with DJ, JD needs a little more. Just a tiny bit.

Are they naked?

HELL YES. Enough said.

Scenes: Only selected scenes are included. The highlights are there. The Glider and The Helicopter are my favorites. I kinda hate the blurred or blackened parts. What's the R-18 for?! Pretty much likely, the rating is fucking useless. (The title should be Fifty Shades of Blur/Black) From what I've heard, it's ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES. Oh well, what can I do about that? hahaha!! Not that I'm complaining or you think I'm some perverted woman. I just know what to expect.

There are parts that made me laugh.
There are parts that made me smile.
There are parts that made me yawn.

Good thing I didn't fell asleep.

The RRoP (Red Room of Pain). I was like.... "Oh... so that's what it looks like. What the eff."

Chemistry? Yep.

More Anastasia Steele. Less Christian Grey. Why? haha

Oh well. I just enjoyed The Glider and The Helicopter.

What I really like the most?

Soundtrack. I just love the songs. It's really catchy. Here are my favorites

Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding - I just can't get this song out of my head. It's on REPEAT. I have an eargasm.

Haunted by Beyonce - "I know if I'm haunting you, you must be haunting me." (Dark, seductive.. Another eargasm)

I Know You by Skylar Grey - I love love love this. There is something about this song that just makes my heart flutter.

Yes. That ends my review. Some people think this advocates ABUSE/RAPE. Maybe some people think of it as a YES because of the BDSM concept (pleasure and pain), and when you've read it the first time (that happened to me. I think CG treats women like slaves). As I've read the entire series, I really don't think it advocates ABUSE/RAPE.  There is a reason WHY Grey has that kind of lifestyle. Not that I'm defending it. It's better to get to know the story first before we jump to conclusions.  I just have issues with the writing style.

I've read other erotica novels that is more extreme than this and you may find it more controversial. YOUNG READERS, Do not attempt to read this or watch the movie UNTIL YOU ARE 18 YEARS OLD. Be a responsible reader.

Peace & Love.
Laters, everyone.

On the Fence by Kasie West

Pages: 296
Goodreads Rating: 4.01/ 5 stars
My rating: 4/5 stars
Genre: YA, Contemporary Romance

Summary (goodreads):

For sixteen-year-old Charlotte Reynolds, aka Charlie, being raised by a single dad and three older brothers has its perks. She can outrun, outscore, and outwit every boy she knows—including her longtime neighbor and honorary fourth brother, Braden. But when it comes to being a girl, Charlie doesn't know the first thing about anything. So when she starts working at chichi boutique to pay off a speeding ticket, she finds herself in a strange new world of makeup, lacy skirts, and BeDazzlers. Even stranger, she's spending time with a boy who has never seen her tear it up in a pickup game.

To cope with the stress of faking her way through this new reality, Charlie seeks late-night refuge in her backyard, talking out her problems with Braden by the fence that separates them. But their Fence Chats can't solve Charlie's biggest problem: she's falling for Braden. Hard. She knows what it means to go for the win, but if spilling her secret means losing him for good, the stakes just got too high.

When I've read The Distance Between Us, I know I should get another Kasie West's books. She is such a great contemporary romance author and I'm hooked with her writing style.

On the Fence is a light, and quick read. The story is really cute, although it didn't give me much of giddiness every time I read romance novels. It's still an enjoyable one. I like how it focuses on the character developments, and family.

I find Charlie a bit annoying at first because she's whiny and childish. Her transition throughout the book gets better. She's more mature and refine. Somehow, I could relate to her because she is one girl who doesn't know much about the girly stuff (I learned applying/using make-up when I was in College.) and is into sports. If I will have a guy best friend whom I can date in the future, it will be Braden. He is so adorable and sweet. He is definitely a keeper.

Overall, this is an enjoyable one.

My Review:

Review also posted on Goodreads page.

I know it takes me so long to finish this book merely because it's thick and I'm very busy lately on other stuffs (work & other requirements). I'm just too tired to read, I miss reading and catching up with new releases and all sorts of bookish stuffs.

Let's see.

The Evolution of Mara Dyer is indeed better than the first installment. This book has lots of surprises. Every chapter of this book leaves me speechless and just makes me want to scream "How the fuck did that happen?! What the hell?!!" (Sorry for the words. I easily get carried away on what I'm reading.) as well as make you think of possibilities.

The story is unpredictable, twisted, creepy and mind-blowing. I love how Michelle Hodkin wrote such kind of YA Mystery/Thriller- Paranormal novel. I know should have read this earlier but I patiently waited for The Retribution of Mara Dyer so it won't be a cliffhanger.

Mara Dyer is one sick, twisted character. I do love her character but sometimes I don't get her. Noah Shaw, gosh. This guy is PERFECTION. I'm absolutely love him to bits. His sweetness, wits and sense of humor, uggh. Where can I find him? He is a motivator and a guy with full of self-control.

My favorite supporting characters are probably Jamie Rothand Daniel Dyer these two are both hilarious in different ways. But I'm more of a fan of Jamie. The dude just made me Laugh-out-Loud! Crazy man.

Overall, I love this book and I'm excited for the final book. Michelle Hodkin is awesome! (and beautiful by the way. ;) She is one of the sweetest authors I've ever met.) However, there are some points that are unclear to me.. Hopefully the answers will be revealed on the last book.
